Every single year, the Gospel reading for the festival of Epiphany is from Matthew 2. Matthew is the only writer who tells us about the Wise Men. Have you ever wondered why they are called that?

“A Savior was born for you. He is Christ the Lord.” His birth happened for you!

When I was recently considering my call to southern Arizona, one of the things many people mentioned that they wouldn’t like about living in Arizona is that they don’t have the change in seasons like we do in Wisconsin. But you know, it’s been said that we really only have two seasons in Wisconsin: Winter and Road Construction.
