Science Camp

If you are hot, tired, and everywhere you look, you see sand, you could be “LOST IN THE DESERT!” Get ready, because we are going to make our way through the desert for a week-long, hands-on investigation designed just for you. Never fear though, if we do become lost, we will surely find our way back home by Friday because God is going with us and he always knows where we are no matter where we end up.
You may think that nothing can survive in deserts but God designed them to be amazingly beautiful and teeming with life even though they receive less than ten inches of rain a year. Did you know that there are hot deserts and cold deserts? Come and explore them with us! Bring your water bottle and a sturdy pair of sandals and we will do the rest.
Registration for the “Lost in the Desert” Science Camp has begun, sign up below! We have room for 120 nomads in our caravan this year so please sign up early to make sure your child has a spot. We encourage all campers to tell their friends about this amazing opportunity to join us on our trek. Our camp is FREE and we look forward to seeing new faces, so spread the word and have friends sign up too.
Just a Note: If you register, mark it in red on your calendar! This camp has many hands-on activities that are customized for each child and their names are placed on their projects ahead of time. We place a one-time order for shirts with each child’s specific size in June. IF YOU SIGN UP, MAKE SURE YOU COME! We begin a waiting list when the camp fills up.
The Science Camp will be held right here at Eastside Lutheran (2310 Independence Lane, Madison, WI 53704) All children who are entering 4K through incoming fifth grade will be able to sign up and join us. Mark it on your calendar and sign up early to reserve your spot.
