“Let the little come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Luke 18:16

The primary purpose of the Early Childhood Program is to teach God’s Word and the Good News about Jesus while providing a quality Christian environment to the young children of our community.

Goals and Objectives

The Early Childhood Program is designed to:

  • Help parents/guardians in carrying out the command of God when He said, “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4)
  • Provide opportunities for the children to learn about their Savior, Jesus Christ, through Bible lessons and a Christian learning environment.
  • Provide experiences which will stimulate the children’s spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs as well as equip them for future service to the Lord at school, home, and throughout their lives.
  • All training and instruction will be designed with the intent of strengthening their faith in Jesus, their Savior.
  • The Eastside Lutheran Early Childhood Program is operated by Eastside Lutheran Church, under the direction of the Board of Child Discipleship. It practices the teachings of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
