LAKESIDE’S A CAPPELLA CHOIR – Lakeside Lutheran’s A Cappella Choir will be beautifying our services on Sunday, March 7^th. They have asked to sing a song with our school students. This year grades 3-8 are being asked to come sing. This is a slight change from the music schedule. Please make every effort to allow your child to join us in such a wonderful opportunity. All students in grades 3-8 will be learning and practicing the song.

 

LAKESIDE LUTHERAN’S SWING CHOIR – On Wednesday, March 3, at 9:30 a.m. Lakeside Lutheran High School’s Swing Choir will perform for us in the gym. All are welcome to attend.

 

NO SCHOOL OR CHILDCARE – Fri., Feb. 26 – Teachers are attending a curriculum conference. Childcare will also be closed.

 

ATTENTION, PARENTS! – Summer childcare registration forms were sent home in the billing statements last week Monday. If you did not get one, you can pick one up in the Early Childhood Office.   Please sign up as soon as possible if you intend on using our Program this summer as space will be limited. Thanks!

BOX TOPS NEWS – Just a reminder – If you want to be a part of the pizza party coming up, you need to turn in your sheets by 8:15 a.m. on March 1, 2010. If you lost your sheet, you may collect 50 Box Tops, place them in a Ziploc bag, and put your name and grade in the bag.

 

KINDERGARTEN AND PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT FOR 2010-2011 – If you are interested in enrolling your child in Kindergarten at Eastside Lutheran School for the 2010-2011 school year, or if you know somebody who may be interested, please contact the school office (244-3045). Children entering Kindergarten must be 5-years-old before 9/1/10 and tested by Eastside personnel.

 

LAKESIDE AND LUTHER PREP SPORTS PROGRAMS AND CAMPS – If you are interested in Lakeside’s Tackle Football Program for 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade boys, the Summer Softball Program for 7 to 16-year old girls, or the 2010 Warrior Sports Camps (Basketball – boys and girls entering grades 4-9 or Volleyball – girls entering grades 6-9), please pick up a brochure from the school office. Information is also available for Luther Prep’s summer sports camps.
