CHILDCARE FAMILIES, PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE!! – Childcare is OPEN until 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22.  School closes at 11:30 a.m.  Please make sure your child is signed up if you plan on having him/her attend, and send a lunch.

THANK YOU – Thanks to everyone for making THE TASTE OF EASTSIDE our best ever! We couldn't do it without our dedicated volunteers who "man their stations" and the generous members who donate crafts and baked goods. We especially enjoyed the newest entry to our event: WELS Pastors and Friends who served up the most delicious sausages and pancakes (a secret recipe from one of our members!). Final numbers aren't available yet, but with an expected matching donation from THRIVENT we expect this to be our best event ever. Again, many thanks to all! 

EASTSIDE’S BIBLE INFORMATION COURSE– Eastside's Bible Information Course (or BIC) is a great step for those seeking to understand God and his purpose for their lives.  Covering foundational truths such as sin, grace, faith, works, and more, BIC is the perfect place to deepen your connection to God and ask the spiritual questions you've always wondered about.  This is also the course used for those who wish to become members of Eastside.

END OF SEMESTER – The first semester will end on Thursday, January 14. Mid-morning milk money is due on Tuesday, January 19, for students wishing to have mid-morning milk second semester. Several students have already paid. The price is $25.00 for the semester. You may send your check to the school office. If you have any questions, please call.

 

THRIVENT MATCHING FUNDS – The matching fund program from Thrivent Financial Services will be ending at the end of the calendar year.  There is also a possibility it could end sooner if funds run out.  If you are considering making a gift to Eastside Lutheran School and having it matched fifty cents on the dollar with Thrivent funds, you would want to make that gift as soon as possible.  You can find forms in the narthex or the school office.  If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Monroe.
