Taste of Eastside Craft and Bake Sale December 6, 9a.m. - 2p.m.

Mark your calendars for the annual "Taste of Eastside"- Sunday December 6, from 9a.m. to 2p.m.  The Taste of Eastside traditionally takes place the first Sunday in December when we begin to celebrate the Christmas season with our Eastside families and friends.  The school gym is the setting for the event which features a craft and bake sale, games for the children, door prizes, poinsettia sale and individual food tables hosted by the grade school and various Church groups.  You may donate your unwanted books to our library table.  We hope to have a "Troops" table for donations to our men and women in the service.  We also accept any gently used Chirsmas decorations for resale.  We encourage you to share your time and talents by baking, crafting and volunteering.  Also, please invite family and friends to this very special day of fun, food and fellowship.  Your donations may be dropped off at the gym on Saturday December 5 (time to be announced).  Please remember to price youy baked goods and crafts if at all possible.  Sign up sheet in the narthex--let us know what you're bringing to the Taste of Eastside so we can plan accordingly.  If you are donating your slightly used Christmas decorations PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRICE THEM.  The proceeds from the craft and bake sale are earmarked for new desks and chairs in our classrooms -- many of which are original desks.
