Coffee Grounds

Coffee Ground Crew  "Spring has sprung" as they say, and we are resuming our weekly Thursday get together, meeting at 7:30 a.m., this year at the new Hy-Vee grocery store cafe at E. Wash. and Mendota St. for coffee/breakfast and fellowship.    At about 8:15, we go to Eastside Lutheran on Independence Ln. Some of us pick up sticks and garbage/debris on the grounds, others "weed wack" in the areas that cannot be reached with the mowers, and still other work in the flower beds and shrubbery.  Also, if your one that cannot come on Thursdays, and would like to get in the schedule mowing with the big "ZeroTurn" mower or helping with the hand mowing on Saturdays, this is also a huge way you can help.  Please call Darrel Alberts @ 249-5050 or my cell @ 358-2898 for details if you would be interested.  All that helped last year are back this year and claim they enjoy it.
