     Michael Wilde was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI where he attended Siloah Lutheran Elementary School and Wisconsin Lutheran High School.  After graduating in 1977 he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1981.  His first call was to San Pablo Lutheran School, a one room Spanish Mission school in Tucson, AZ.  During the time he spent in Tucson, Mike’s brother and parents also moved to Tucson. 

     Mike’s next call was to Buffalo Lutheran School in Cochrane, WI.  He served as Principal and teacher of grades 4-8.  After three years in Cochrane, Mike received a call to teach seventh and eighth grades at Eastside Lutheran School in Madison.  Mike was also called to serve as the school’s Athletic Director and Coach.  Mike’s other responsibilities include Forensics Administrator, Gym Coordinator, Computer and Technology Chairman, and filling the pop machines.

     Shortly after coming to teach at Eastside, Mike met his wife, Vicki Maas, a member of Eastside, whom he married in 1995.

     In 2004 Mike earned a Wisconsin State Teaching License.  This license has allowed Mike to serve as a student teacher supervisor for Martin Luther College.
