Sunday School is a opportunuty for children to learn more about their Savior.  Eastside offers different classrooms for the following age levels: Preschool and Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade, 3rd and 4th Grade, 5th and 6th Grade, and 7th and 8th Grade.  All are welcome to attend!

On Sunday nights, beginning January 10th at 6:30pm, Dr. Arthur Eggert will lead six studies on creation, evolution, and matters of religion/faith.  Eggert, a retired University of Wisconsin-Madison professor and Eastside member, has written and published numerous papers in the scientific field as well as read over 50,000 pages of Lutheran theology.

Seeking to address the common ways in which members of the scientific and religious communities speak past one another, this study aims to give clear understanding of the true aims of the Bible and science.

The Bible Information Course is an overview of the core teachings of the Scriptures.  It seeks to answer many of the spiritual questions that are essential to our relationship with God, such as:

-How can I be sure that I am in a right relationship with God?

-Where is heaven and how do I get there?

-Exactly what did Jesus stand for?

-What are baptism and communion all about?

-What do sin, grace, faith, and forgiveness really mean?

-And plenty more!

Chancel Choir rehearsals for the fall season will begin on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00 pm in the church.  All members, high school age and older, are most welcome to come and join us in preparing and singing special music to the Lord.  We will again be dividing the singing year into 5 sessions.  The sessions are as follows:

For more than four years Eastside has offered English as a Second Language classes (ESL) to our neighbors.  With the growing number of nationalities moving to Madison's east side, these classes have been a way for our church to show Christian love and share our culture with our community.  Classes are free and childcare is offered to all who need it.

Youth Group is kids through young adults (6th grade through 12th grade) who meet at Eastside Lutheran School and play a various assortment of games - basketball, football, tag, soccer - whatever we're in the mood for!  About halfway through we stop for a snack and a 20-minute devotion about a religious topic (voted on by the people attending).  You don't have to be a member or Eastside or go to Eastside Lutheran School to attend!
