Theology of the Cross Study

Why is life sometimes so hard?  Why is it hard even for Christians?  How can the Bible speak of rejoicing when life feels unbearable?

Carrying our "cross", as Jesus phrased it, is the ultimate challenge for believers.  That is why Eastside is honored to host a 3-night presentation called "The Theology of the Cross".  Professor Daniel Deutschlander, who has served for 40 years as a pastor, teacher and college professor, will lead a discussion of this essential Christian teaching.
