                My name is Richard Korth.  I have been teaching for 38 years.  I was raised in Juneau, WI.  After attending St. John’s Lutheran grade school, I went to Northwestern Prep in Watertown, WI.  Upon graduation from Dr. Martin Luther College, I was called to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Whitewater, WI.

While serving the Lord at St. John’s and St. Paul’s I furthered my education by acquiring a Master of Science in Teaching degree from the University of WI at Whitewater.

I am now serving Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church as their Minister of Education.  My primary responsibility is teaching grades three and four at Eastside Lutheran School, serving as faculty secretary, and coaching track with emphasis on high jumping.

My duties at Zion include serving on the church council, directing the choir, and Sunday school Superintendent.  I assist pastor with liturgy once a month and communion twice a month.  I also teach a weekly evening adult bible class.

I thank the Lord for allowing me to serve him at Zion and at Eastside.
